Zen - Malta 2007

Zen at Portomaso Marina St Julians is indeed the right name for this restaurant.
Visited twice with son (7 years old and sashimi lover), while daughter (5) was having a burger with dad elsewhere...

"Japanese cuisine is a ritual in itself – a celebration of time-honoured traditions, fresh ingredients and charming hospitality." is their quote.

Away from the noise from St Juliens, fab food, good service, and a great view on the marina.

Probably one of the nicest restaurants I have experienced on the island.
Reasonable priced.

Hugo's lounge - Malta

Hugo's lounge is found in the craziness round St Georges Street & St Ritas Steps.
Asian Fusion food and some sushi as well.
Very noisy and more a place to party till late late night.

I had to wait a long time before they served our food and overall, wasn't impressed with it's quality.

Again, it might taste good after a night of binge drinking (what most people seem to do here)...
